We are called to worship through giving! Join Reverend Dr. Johnnie B Porter, M.Div., Senior Pastor, the PG Altruism/ Outreach Ministry, and the Pleasant Grove congregation in supporting both our community and our members through two vital initiatives this holiday season.

Reaching Outward: Spreading Love Throughout Our Community

We are collecting non-perishable food items to distribute to the Homeless Coalition in Douglasville. Let’s make sure our neighbors in need have full bellies this holiday.

Here’s how you can help:

* Grab bags from Fellowship Hall and fill them with non-perishable goods.

* Suggested Items:

* Bread

* Lunchmeat

* Peanut Butter/ Jelly

* Cereal

* Coffee/Tea, Water

And even baby formula, toiletries, and batteries.

* Return filled bags by Sunday, November 16, 2025.

Reaching Inward: Supporting Our Congregation

Let’s support our fellow members right here at Pleasant Grove! Our in-house assistance program is starting Next Sunday, November 2, 2025.

Here’s how you can contribute:

* Donate gift cards to help members purchase necessary items.

* Assist members through various support efforts.
